According to posts shared to her personal Instagram account, a woman has come forth with allegations that R&B singer Miguel sexually assaulted her after taking a fan photo with him during a club appearance.

And by way of a lengthy message penned to the Wildheart crooner and accompanying videos of her testimony, she’s sharing every detail of the alleged sexual violation as well.

Before posting the picture of her and Miguel, the woman recorded a video of herself explaining that she had run into him at a club and approached him as most fans would for a quick fan photo. Xian Bass, as she introduced herself, said that she told him she was a health and human services student at the University of New Mexico and was a huge fan of his work.

“I love your song ‘Adorn,’” she recalled expressing to Miguel. “I’ve made myself orgasm to it many of times, and I love the song — thank you. So cool — we take a selfie, cute little photo, but right after we take the photo, he reaches his hand down my shirt and takes my breast out of my top.” Visibly expressing her shock at such an alleged bold move from the singer, she added that the unexpected turn of events caused her to freeze. The woman followed up the video with a flick of her and Miguel, the aforementioned fan photo taken before the alleged sexual assault, and a caption directly addressing Miguel and the incident in shocking detail.

“Dear Miguel, I used to be a fan of your music,” she wrote. “I was a fan of your music until you blatantly disrespected my body in a public place. There is nothing I did or said that warranted this disgusting display of entitlement, rape culture, and male privilege. I approached you respectfully and you still decided my body was not sacred enough to be treated as a human being.”

Expanding on her testimony that his alleged actions were completely without consent, she claimed that after Miguel removed her breast from her top, the “disgusting look” on his face was enough to make her sick.

“It's still embedded in my memory. The sneer of your lip and salivating mouth is making my stomach turn,” she detailed. “I really don't understand why you would do that to someone who approached you as a fan. I'm beyond disgusted right now. Are you used to treating random female strangers this way? Have you gotten away with this in the past? Well, it stops here and now.”

Followed by a handful of hashtags about rape culture, male privilege and her refusal of silence, she posted a second video to her Instagram with the caption, “…About last night, Part 2.” In this video, she explains how such an incident is treated in a patriarchal society and her feelings of objectivity. Bass has now made her formerly public Instagram account private, which might also come as a result from several commenters expressing suspicion of her nonchalance and indifferent composure while recalling the incident as well as accusations that she was making the story up for some quick limelight.

Miguel nor representatives from his team have yet to release a statement on the allegations.
