Video of The Week: Tyrese and Patti Labelle Sing "Shame" In Patti's Kitchen

Tyrese is having the best week ever.  Not only is his latest album "Black Rose" set to debut at number one, but he got to sing his hit song "Shame" with Patti Labelle in her kitchen! Auntie Patti does not co-sign to many artists and if she say's you're good.  You're good. 

The video is a real treat.  I could listen to either of them sing the phonebook so having them ad lib together is proof that music change lives and create beautiful moments.

Tyrese To Earn First Number 1 Album With "Black Rose"

Tyrese's new album Black Rose is rising fast and furiously up the charts all the way to number 1 according to Billboard.  This will be Baby Boy's first number one album and 3rd 10 Ten.

Singer/actor Tyrese is set for his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart. Industry forecasters suggest the entertainer’s new Black Rose effort -- released July 10 on his own Voltron Recordz (distributed through Universal Music) -- could earn 70,000 equivalent album units in the week ending July 16.

Rapper 50 Cent Files for Bankruptcy

Curtis James Jackson III, the rapper better known as 50 Cent, filed for bankruptcy on Monday.

Documents filed in Connecticut Bankruptcy Court showed Jackson's listed assets and debts to be in the range of $10 million to $50 million.

The filing comes days after a jury ruled that Jackson must pay $5 million to a woman suing over a sex tape that was posted without her permission, according to the Associated Press.

Jackson's attorney was not immediately available to comment on the timing of the filing.

Drake Impersonates Oprah, Obama, Miley Cyrus, Kanye, Justin Bieber in "Energy" Video

Drake has already proven his acting chops before.  As we all know he started out in television before becoming the rap star that he is today.  He's putting his skill to work in his new video.  Drake shared the first video for a track from his  album If You're Reading This It's Too Late.

It features Drake impersonating Oprah, Kanye, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, LeBron James, Barack Obama, Oprah... and  many more. Directed by Fleur & Manu, it's available now on Apple Music.

Remy Ma and Papoose To Join Cast of Love and Hip Hop New York

Last night, during the wrap-up show of the latest Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta season, it was revealed that Remy Ma, real name Reminisce Smith as well as her husband and fellow MC Papoose, real name Shamele Mackie, will be joining the cast of the upcoming Love & Hip-Hop: New York season.

Very few of the previous cast members of the Vh1 series having extensive musical backgrounds. with the addition of Remy and Pap, it adds an air of legitimacy to the series. Musically of course.

The long awaited video for Rihanna's red hot single Bitch Better Have My Money is finally here. 

If you watched the BET Awards this past Sunday you already caught a glimpse as Rih served up a minute long preview.

The video marks Rihanna's directorial debut, and she was more than happy as revealed in an instagram post accompanying the video.

The 11-minute Bad Boy reunion kicked off with Puff and Ma$e on “Feel So Good,” donning their signature red leather outfits. 112 followed, bringing “Peaches & Cream,” as it segued quickly into Diddy’s “I Need a Girl Part Two.” Faith Evans arrived in a red mink for “Love Like This,” and pandemonium ensued.

Tamar Braxton and K.Michelle Perform Together At 2015 BET Awards

Squashing their twitter/instagram/social media beef, Tamar and K.Michelle took to the BET awards to perform.   After years of feuding, the R&B divas united for a joint performance. K was up first, singing “Hard to Do” off her latest album Anybody Wanna

Buy a Heart? She was followed by Tamar, who strut on stage in a golden fur for “If I Don’t Have You.”
