Just in time for Valentine's Day, R&B freshmen class members Luke James and Sevyn Streeter cover one of the blackest, most beautiful love songs ever written. Lauryn Hill's Nothing Even Matters, which features D'Angelo was one of the only duets on Lauryn's debut album "This Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" and was a standout track, and one of the "wedding songs of the year.

Adele was the big winner at last night’s Grammy Awards, pulling down wins for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for 25 and Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Hello.” If you’re of the opinion that Lemonade was the better album, you’re not alone: Adele herself used her Album of the Year acceptance speech to sing Beyoncé’s praises, going so far as to say she could not “possibly accept this award.”

The four-time Grammy nominees A Tribe Called Quest and Anderson .Paak, who was up for two awards of his own, came together to electrify the Grammys with their collaborative performance for “Movin’ Backwards.” Joined by fellow We Got It from Here collaborators Busta Rhymes and Consequence, Tribe and .Paak performed a medley of “Movin’ Backwards” and “We the People” from ATCQ’s new album plus a nice throwback selection in “Award Tour.”

Beyoncé hit the stage at the 2017 Grammys to perform two songs off her 2016 album Lemonade, "Love Drought" and "Sandcastles," in what was her first public appearance since announcing that she was pregnant with twins. And she didn't dance around that fact, either, dedicating her performance to motherhood and showing off her double baby bump proudly.

Solange has won Best R&B Performance at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards. “Cranes in the Sky” beat out Rihanna, BJ the Chicago Kid, Ro James, and Musiq Soulchild. It was Solange’s sole Grammy nomination for anything off her album A Seat at the Table, which we named listed as the No. 1 album of 2016.

A year after the song first debuted at the Superbowl the Estate of Messy Mya also know as Anthony Barré is suing Beyonce for using a sample of the popular slain personalities voice in her Formation video.
Barré’s estate claims Beyonce straight-up ripped the deceased artist’s “I like that” phrase without permission … and then went on to make millions off the track. Barré, a YouTube star, was shot and killed in 2010.
The estate goes on to claim they tried talking to Beyonce about the sample … but says she blew them off.
